hello from our studio

We find the handmade crochet worth loving

Little Loop Finds is a small, independent blog about crochet. We search Etsy for beautifully made pieces from independent makers, write honest notes about each one, and share free patterns so you can make your own.

how it started

Our story

It started with a highland cow. Sofia wanted to buy a handmade one for her niece and spent an entire evening scrolling through hundreds of Etsy listings, trying to work out which were genuinely handmade, which were the right size for a three-year-old, and which would survive a year of cuddles.

She found a beautiful one in the end — from a tiny studio in Tuscany — and realised that the hard part wasn't finding crochet, it was knowing which crochet was worth buying. Little Loop Finds was born to do that homework for you.

Today we review handmade pieces every week, interview the makers behind them and publish free, tested patterns for anyone who would rather pick up a hook themselves. Start with our amigurumi finds or our free patterns.

what we believe

Three promises we keep

  • Independent makers only

We only feature genuinely handmade pieces from small shops — never mass-produced or dropshipped products.

  • Honest, checked details

Sizes, materials, reviews and shipping times are checked before we publish, and re-checked regularly.

  • Safety first for little ones

Every toy we recommend comes with clear age guidance, and we flag anything unsuitable for babies.

How this site makes money

Little Loop Finds is free to read. Here's exactly how we pay for it — and what we will never do.

  • Etsy affiliate links

When you buy through our "View on Etsy" buttons, Etsy may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price. Read the disclosure.

  • Display ads

We show clearly labelled ads from Google and its partners. Advertisers never influence what we write.

  • No paid placements

Makers can't pay to be featured in our posts or gift guides. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled.

  • No selling your data

We never sell your personal data. See our privacy policy and cookie policy.
